RySense is a Singapore-based research organisation which seeks to understand what people in Singapore think, feel and do. Over the years, we have conducted research on a range of socio-economic issues as well as current affairs topics like climate change and the COVID situation. Using robust approaches, we seek to generate reliable insights about the Singapore landscape, which reflect both subtle nuances and macro perspectives.
We are built on a simple idea of providing reliability in sensing — hence our name.
We are a not-for-profit company set up by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (the former Ministry of Communications and Information). Incorporated in 2014, RySense is a Company Limited by Guarantee and does not have shareholders. The revenue we obtain is used to strengthen the company’s research capacity.
We are a team of market research professionals. Our board of directors provide strategic direction and are drawn from both the private and public sectors in view of their expertise in research, technology and corporate governance.
