About This Course

Are you or your colleagues outsourcing social research projects to a market research (MR) firm?

Quality control processes are crucial in determining the reliability of your survey data. Given that Government agencies are increasingly conducting social research involving field surveys to inform policy-making, it is beneficial for public officers to understand the adopted quality control processes for projects they commission to MR firms.

This training workshop focuses on what public officers can do through case study discussions and sharing from research audit practitioners. We seek to share:

  1. Strategies to manage quality controls effectively
  2. Tips to detect interviewer misbehaviours through dataset checks

What You'll Learn

At the end of this module, you will acquire:

  1. UNDERSTAND and manage quality control processes effectively
  2. IDENTIFY and prevent fraudulent data collection
  3. EQUIP yourself with the best practices for ensuring data integrity
