About This Course
Social research is an important competency for public officers. Government agencies are increasingly conducting social research involving field surveys to inform policy making. It can provide evidence-based recommendations for policy analysts and decision-makers to formulate and improve to address social issues and challenges.
Are you or your colleagues outsourcing social research projects to a market research (MR) firm?
The processes that MR firms have in place will have an impact on the quality of data collected. Given that data quality plays an important role in Government policy-making, it is beneficial for public officers to understand what to take note of for research projects that they commission to MR firms.
This training workshop focuses on what a smart MR consumer can do through case study discussions and sharing from research audit practitioners. We seek to share:
- Dos and Don’ts when designing a research project
- Tips on what public officers can take note of
What You'll Learn
At the end of this module, you will acquire:
- UNDERSTAND the processes that affect face-to-face door-to-door survey data collection
