Assistant Executive (Data Acquisition)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE (DATA ACQUISITION) – FIELD ADMIN (PART-TIME)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with documentation for training and briefing sessions
  • Ensure that documents are signed and filed
  • Prepare interviewer ID pass and briefing kit
  • Print and collate of briefing materials including questionnaires and showcards
  • Co-ordinate, pack & issue vouchers to Field interviewers
  • Track voucher usage against daily data extracts to ensure the voucher management system is updated
  • Flag any irregularity of voucher serial numbers (assigned vs utilised)
  • Prepare voucher utilisation report at the end of each project
  • Schedule and communicate project briefing date/time with interviewers
  • Search and match condo quotas across databases
  • Assist with any other tasks that may be assigned by the Reporting Officer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good command of spoken and written English (at least B3/B4 in O’ Levels English or equivalent)
  • Effective communication skills and confident in liaising with a diverse team of Field interviewers
  • Organised and meticulous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel (Vlookup, formulas, Countifs, index match)
  • Strong numeracy skills and comfortable with data
  • 20 hours work week

Manager (Technical Operations)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MANAGER (TECHNICAL OPERATIONS)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee all IT infrastructure and operations:
    • Administration of Active Directory, Office365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.), Firewall, data backup and recovery, Storage, PaaS and SaaS systems
    • Hardware and Operating System maintenance and firmware upgrade of Servers, Network and storage equipment
    • Support and maintain IT Infrastructure which includes troubleshooting, patching, hardening and upgrading
    • Manage licences and renewal of contracts and services
    • Discover, evaluate, recommend, and implement new technology solutions to meet business needs
    • Conduct regular reviews of technological architecture, operations and processes
    • Direct operations and resources to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet expectations
  • Define, review and enforce IT policies, processes and standards to ensure consistency, sustainability, quality and security
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure high quality service delivery and cost-effective contracts
  • Prepare, oversee and control budgets, proposals and procurement of technology
  • Develop IT Operations strategies for the company to:
    • Effectively, efficiently and securely utilise technological assets, resources and capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in an IT related discipline with at least 5 years proven experience as Technical Operations Manager
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing people / leading a team
  • Able to move easily between taking a broad, strategic perspective, and drilling down to the details
  • Wide knowledge of technology trends, IT operations, risks, security and compliance
  • Business acumen – able to understand business problems and identify how technology can enhance business strategy
  • Client-oriented – able to understand the client point of view, anticipate demands, and implement technology strategies that enable the company to stay a step ahead of their needs

System Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage administration of Active Directory, Office365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.), Firewall and SaaS systems
  • Support and maintain IT Infrastructure which includes troubleshooting, patching, hardening and upgrading
  • Manage Application Servers and to engage with vendor’s support team when required
  • Manage licences and renewal of contracts / services
  • Drive IT Projects and support business driven projects
  • Cover for Technical Support Staff in providing end user IT support, including setup and deployment of workstations, installation of software and hardware devices when the staff is on leave

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related position
  • Proficient in Active Directory, Windows Server, Office365, VMware, Cisco Networking, Firewall Security
  • Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, Group Policy Management and Network Policy Server
  • Possessing MCSA / MCSE will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Veeam Backup & Replication and Linux will be a bonus
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Methodical and able to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate outcomes and follow-up on any action required
  • Team player but also able to work independently

Database Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DATABASE DEVELOPER

JOB SUMMARY

We are collecting lots of data – structured and unstructured – and we are looking for an experienced Database Developer to be the master architect behind the development, management and maintenance of our critical data assets.

In this role, you will design, implement and maintain the databases and data applications, ensuring that it meets operational requirements and is efficient.  In addition, you will assist to put in place policies and processes for effective data management and governance.  As the custodian of our database system, you will be responsible for ensuring its security, reliability and accuracy.  Opportunities to expand into dashboarding, data mining, analytics and modelling will also become increasingly available as you help build and grow our data warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse the data needs of the company and design effective database system
  • Maintain data structures, indexing methods, file organisation and security procedures
  • Monitor and maintain database health to ensure high levels of performance and availability
  • Perform data quality checks and identify the root cause of any data inconsistency
  • Implement access policy, database security tools and/or measures to safeguard the organisation’s data.
  • Define and implement database backup and recovery policy and procedures
  • Develop applications and tools that analyses the data for better insights and business intelligence
  • Maintain database dictionaries, SOPs and other relevant documentation
  • Perform data mining and analysis (Extract, Transform, Load) operations; execute data queries, generate reports and create dashboards
  • Maintain and/or migrate existing MS Access database and applications
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting with special projects when required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Diploma in IT or a related field, ideally with relevant industry certifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with one or more Database Management Systems
  • Well-versed in writing SQL queries
  • Well versed in Microsoft Access and LAMP Stack
  • Familiar with data analytics, data mining, data protection legislation and implementing database security policies
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Methodical and able to meet deadlines

Field Interviewer (Freelance)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FIELD INTERVIEWER (FREELANCE)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for collecting data by conducting structured face-to-face surveys using tablets or pen and paper
  • In-charge of the recruitment of respondent on the ground for research studies
  • Approach respondents on the streets or by knocking from door-to-door. No selling or promotional activities is involved.
  • A 5-day work week, including weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
  • Competent in English and one or more of the following languages – Chinese, Malay & Tamil.
  • Previous relevant interviewing and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong social, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Friendly, polite and confident in persuading people to take part in research studies
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Resilient and quick to move on when refusals take place
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Research Interviewer (Full-Time / Part-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR RESEARCH INTERVIEWER (FULL-TIME / PART-TIME)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Research Interviewer is responsible for collecting data by conducting structured surveys over the telephone or in person and entering the responses into computer systems or mobile devices. No marketing or selling is involved. The full-time research interviewers will be required to work between 12.30pm to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour meal break. The part-time research interviewers will be required to work on a four-hours shift between 12.30pm to 4.30pm or 5.30pm to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
  • Competent in English and one or more of the following languages – Chinese, Malay & Tamil
  • Strong telephone skills and excellent telephone demeanor; prior call center or telephone interviewing experience preferred
  • Strong social, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and software
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and take a proactive approach to work
