System Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

JOB SUMMARY

As a key member of the IT team, you will play a significant role in managing the IT infrastructure (Servers, Network, Applications), and to drive IT projects that increases the efficiency of the business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage administration of Active Directory, Office365, Firewall and SaaS systems
  • Support and maintain IT Infrastructure which includes troubleshooting, patching, hardening and upgrading
  • Manage Application Servers and to engage with vendor’s support team when required
  • Manage licences and renewal of contracts / services
  • Drive IT Projects and support business driven projects
  • Cover for Technical Support Staff in providing end user IT support, including setup and deployment of workstations, installation of software and hardware devices when the staff is on leave

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related position
  • Proficient in Active Directory, Windows Server, Office365, VMware, Cisco Networking, Firewall Security
  • Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, Group Policy Management and Network Policy Server
  • Possessing MCSA / MCSE will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Veeam Backup & Replication and Linux will be a bonus
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Methodical and able to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate outcomes and follow-up on any action required

Senior Executive (Quantitative Research)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SENIOR EXECUTIVE (QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH)

JOB SUMMARY

As a part of the quantitative research team, you will be involved in day-to-day management of quantitative research projects. This role requires an organized, detailed oriented, highly meticulous team player, passionate about making a difference and having a strong growth mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-end research project ownership including:
    • Plan and execute research projects following client briefing and needs
    • Assist to design questionnaires and propose quantitative methodologies of collecting information
    • Prepare and script research questionnaires for computer-assisted data collection
    • Perform detailed cleaning, high quality coding on collected data sets
    • Project management, fieldwork monitoring and ensure adherence to schedules/timelines
  • Demonstrate analytical abilities including:
    • Analyse, interpret and distil insights
    • Create insightful, highly actionable and digestible reports in PowerPoint
    • Present confidently to external clients across working levels

REQUIREMENTS

Senior Manager (Delivery & Development)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SENIOR MANAGER (DELIVERY & DEVELOPMENT)

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager (Delivery and Development) is the key lead responsible for (1) overseeing delivery for online panel and field research, (2) taking primary ownership for recruitment initiatives for our online panel, and (3) leading the development of our Data Team. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues, you will foster internal collaboration in order to ensure the timely and high quality delivery of research output. You will advise internal and external clients on operational matters, striking a good balance between meeting client requirements and ensuring that research is implemented sensibly, effectively and efficiently according to best practices. By understanding short and long-term research needs, you will develop recruitment initiatives for our online panel to ensure we maintain a healthy respondent base, as well as lead the data team to build full-range capabilities that meet business requirements.  Training will be provided to support the candidate’s understanding of the rigorous operational and data standards required by our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

DELIVERY

  • Oversee the teams responsible for end-to-end project operations: project management, data and coding
    • Work with project managers to assess feasibility of research briefs
    • Advise researchers / clients on operational / implementation matters for more complex studies when necessary
    • Coordinate and prioritise inter-department resources and schedules to ensure timely and quality delivery
    • Ensure overall consistency and robustness of project management / data processing and delivery standards and processes

DEVELOPMENT

  • Work closely with the panel operations team to plan, propose and execute recruitment initiatives for online panellists
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of recruitment plans and overall health of the panel
  • Ensure the panel pool is robust, developing it over time to better meet research and business requirements while improving accuracy and quality
  • Lead the Data Solutions team in building full-range capabilities in processing, managing and performing advanced scripting and analysis on data

LEADERSHIP & COMPLIANCE

  • Team management:
    • Staff supervision, coaching and development
    • Performance management
    • Building and setting team standards / culture in line with organisational values
  • Build strong inter-department collaboration and relationships
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure high quality service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, security and personal data protection requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 8 years of working experience in a market research company or other research organisation
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end research operations
  • Experience managing online panel research is highly preferred
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to keep tabs on multiple streams of ongoing work / developments without losing sight of the big picture
  • Resourceful, adaptable and open-minded
  • Skills/experience in any of the following are not prerequisites but would be an added advantage:
    • Sampling methods
    • Questionnaire scripting and design
    • Coding of open-ended text data
    • Data processing and analysis
    • Data collection / analysis software (eg. ConfirmIT, Decipher, WinCATI, SPSS etc.)
    • Web programming languages (CSS, Java, HTML, etc)

Assistant Executive / Executive (Project Solutions)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE (PROJECT SOLUTIONS)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and interpret text answers from door-to-door, online or telephone surveys
  • Clean text responses for spelling and grammar
  • Develop code frames by grouping similar responses into common categories
  • Perform coding by assigning numeric code values to answers based on the code frame
  • Interpret and perform coding of demographic and occupational data
  • Check coded data for consistency and logic
  • Prepare coded data files according to specifications (including data entry and file clean-up)
  • Maintain project and data documentation, change logs, code frames and coding dictionaries
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting with other project tasks and special projects when required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably one or more of the following languages: Chinese, Malay, Tamil
  • Highly meticulous, logical and detail-oriented
  • Analytical with the ability to see patterns in data/text and group them into similar concepts
  • Efficient, focused and able to work to deadlines

Executive (Finance)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR EXECUTIVE (FINANCE)

JOB SUMMARY

As part of the Corporate team, you will act as an important enabler in helping the Company achieve its mission and vision. You will be a key player in the Finance team to deliver valued financial support so that company resources are optimally allocated in an efficient and cost-effective way. It is the incumbent’s top most responsibility to ensure that the Company is in compliance with prevailing financial statutory requirements and that there are good corporate governance practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle daily operations in Finance department which includes but not limited to:
    • Manage Accounts Payable to ensure efficient, accurate and timely payments to vendors
    • Manage General Ledger to ensure transactions are properly recorded and aligned with reporting needs
    • Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement
    • Handle incentives for focus group discussion
    • Manage vouchers centrally to ensure better governance and operational efficiency
    • Monitor and safeguard fixed assets to ensure all fixed assets are properly accounted for
  • Provide advice and work closely with the line departments with regards to procurement matters
  • Work closely with Senior Manager, Finance to implement internal controls, systems enhancement and ensuring compliance with all financial and procurement procedures
  • Covering officer for office administrative function such as preparation of staff passes, managing of door security system etc.
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting with special projects when required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/ Finance and preferably, a professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally across the organisation
  • Highly adaptable with an openness to change
  • Specific knowledge of Quickbooks Online or any accounts/finance management system will be advantageous

Field Interviewer (Full Time / Freelance)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FIELD INTERVIEWER (FULL TIME / FREELANCE)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for collecting data by conducting structured face-to-face surveys using tablets or pen and paper
  • In-charge of the recruitment of respondent on the ground for research studies
  • Approach respondents on the streets or by knocking from door-to-door. No selling or promotional activities is involved.
  • A 5-day work week, including weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
  • Competent in English and one or more of the following languages – Chinese, Malay & Tamil.
  • Previous relevant interviewing and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong social, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Friendly, polite and confident in persuading people to take part in research studies

Research Interviewer (Full-Time / Part-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR RESEARCH INTERVIEWER (FULL-TIME / PART-TIME)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Research Interviewer is responsible for collecting data by conducting structured surveys over the telephone or in person and entering the responses into computer systems or mobile devices. No marketing or selling is involved. The full-time research interviewers will be required to work between 12.30pm to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour meal break. The part-time research interviewers will be required to work on a four-hours shift between 12.30pm to 4.30pm or 5.30pm to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels
  • Competent in English and one or more of the following languages – Chinese, Malay & Tamil
  • Strong telephone skills and excellent telephone demeanor; prior call center or telephone interviewing experience preferred
  • Strong social, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and software
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and take a proactive approach to work
